VALLEY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT LEGAL NOTICE New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Notice of Complete Application Date: 02/25/2026 Applicant: VALLEY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT 944 ST RTE 17K MONTGOMERY, NY 12549 Facility: East Coldenham Elementary School, 286 Rte 17K Newburgh, NY 12550 Application ID: 3-3346-00500/00003 Permits(s) Applied for: 1 - Article 24 Freshwater Wetlands Project is located: in NEWBURGH in ORANGE COUNTY Project Description: The applicant proposes approximately 0.39 acres of disturbance to New York State Regulated Freshwater Wetland and Adjacent Area associated with dredging and stream channel rehabilitation of Tributary of Orange Lake (WIN: H-94-6-P 340-1a, Class C) including sediment removal, regrading, bank stabilization, and revegetation with native species. Availability of Application Documents: Filed application documents, and Department draft permits where applicable, are available for inspection during normal business hours at the address of the contact person.
