TOWN OF MONTGOMERY LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLANNING BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MONTGOMERY PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Article 16 of the Town Law, as amended, and the Zoning Law of the Town of Montgomery, the Planning Board of the Town of Montgomery, New York, will hold a public hearing in the Carl L. Helstrom Town Government Center, 110 Bracken Road, Second Floor, Montgomery, New York on Monday the 27th day of April, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard to consider the application of Hudson Valley Supply, 311 Sarah Wells Trail, Campbell Hall, New York 10916 for a project seeking Site Plan approval for a contractor storage and equipment yard. A 2800 sf shop, a 1600 sq office, a 2400 sq overhang and various material bays are proposed for this site. Additionally, proposed is an accessory use of retail of not more than 1600 sf. Only products related to the contractors primary use shall be sold at this site. Recycling of solid waste, concrete, and C &D debris are not proposed. The property that is the subject of this hearing is located on the north side of NYS Rt. 17K at the western side of Stone Castle Road. The property is known now or formerly as tax map parcel Section 26, Block 1, Lot 62.1, is located in the I-1 zoning district and contains 6.2 gross acres of vacant land. The application, plans and supporting materials are on file and available for inspection at the offices of the Town of Montgomery Planning Board or at www.townofmontgomery.com. At this hearing all persons interested will have an opportunity to be heard and any written comments will be received for the record either prior to or at the hearing. Persons may appear in person or by agent. The Planning Board of the Town of Montgomery is the agency responsible for the SEQRA and will be conducting coordinated environmental review for this Type 1 Action.
