Public hearing on water district improvements scheduled for April 14, 2026.

TOWN OF PARIS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Paris, Oneida County, New York, will meet at the Town Hall, in Sauquoit, New York, in said Town, on April 14, 2026, at 5:30 o'clock P.M., Prevailing Time, forthe purpose of conducting a public hearing upon a certain supplemented map, plan and report, including a revised estimate of cost, in relation to the proposed increase and improvement of the facilities of the Sauquoit Consolidated Water District, in the Town of Paris, Oneida County, New York (the "Water District"), being the consisting of the construction of groundwater production wells, a new water treatment plant and disinfectant and contact improvements at the Holman City Road Town-owned well site, including original furnishings, equipment, machinery, apparatus, appurtenances and site and incidental improvements and expenses in connection therewith, at a revised maximum estimated cost of $9,500,000 being an increase of $1,500,000 over that previously authorized. Said capital project has been determined to be a Type I Action pursuant to the regulations of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation promulgated pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act ("SEQRA"), the implementation of which as proposed, it has been determined will not result in any significant environmental impact. At said public hearing said Town Board will hear all persons interested in the subject matter thereof.
