Legal Notices PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Village of Westfield Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) has scheduled a public hearing on Thursday March 19th, 2026, at 4:30pm in the North Room of Eason Hall, 23 Elm Street, Westfield, Chautauqua County, New York. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider an Area Variance application filed by Mary Ellen Humphrey of 3 Backman Ave., Westfield, NY 14787 SBL 193.17-4-7, in the Residential (R2) Zoning District of the Village of Westfield. Pursuant to Village of Westfield Zoning Law 155-12, a 4-ft. side yard setback is required. The applicant is asking for a variance to allow her to erect a car port at the same location. If approved, there would be no side yard setback for the outside posts of the proposed carport. The carport would sit on the actual property line. All citizens with an interest will have an opportunity to be heard at this public hearing. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, you may email your comments to info@villageofwestfield.org. You may drop off or mail your comments to the Village Clerk’s Office, 23 Elm Street-Eason Hall, Westfield, NY 14787 All comments shall be received no later than Wednesday, March 18th, 2026, by 3:30pm.
