Legal Notices SECTION 00 11 13 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS VILLAGE OF MAYVILLE CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, NEW YORK WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT DWSRF #19259 CONTRACT NO. 2A - GENERAL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT NO. 2B - ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION Sealed Bids for the construction of the Village of Mayville Water System Improvements Project, Contract No. 2A - General Construction and Contract No. 2B - Electrical Construction, will be received by Village of Mayville, at the Village Hall, 1 South Erie Street, P.O. Box 188 Mayville, New York 14757 until 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Separate Bids will be received for the following Contracts: Contract No. 2A - General Construction: Work under this contract generally consists of various well site improvements including water treatment building construction. Contract No. 2B - Electrical Construction: Work under this contract generally consists of various electrical improvements associated with water treatment building construction. Bidding Documents may be viewed and ordered online by registering with the Issuing Office at https://bl.biddyhq.com. Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents can be downloaded from the Issuing Office's website as "zipped" portable document format (PDF) files. The Issuing Office charges a non-refundable fee of $100.00 (One Hundred Dollars) to download the documents. The date that the Bidding Documents are downloaded will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security, as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to perform public work, the Successful Bidder and Subcontractors prior to contract award shall hold or obtain such license as required by State statutes, and Federal and local Laws and Regulations. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that have been barred from competing on public works under General Municipal Law 5A-103-b. Bids will not be accepted from Bidder's determined to be Non- Responsive by the New York State Office of General Services. This Project is a “Covered Project" under New York State Labor Law 220-1 and the Bidder must hold a valid Certificate of Registration from the New York State Department of Labor to submit a bid and at all times for the duration of the Work. Purchases made by the Village of Mayville are not subject to any Federal, State or local sales tax. Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials. Exemption certificates will be executed upon request.
