NOTICE TO BIDDERS

TO

RECONSTRUCT PARKING LOT

AT THE COLUMBIA COUNTY AIRPORT

TOWN OF GHENT, NEW YORK

Sealed bids for the Reconstruct Parking Lot will be received at the office of the Columbia County Engineering Department, 178 Route 23B, PO Box 324, Hudson, New York 12534 until 11:00 AM., local time, Thursday March 19 th , 2026 and there, at said office, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “ Reconstruct Parking Lot ”.

The project generally consists of the base bid reconstruction of 1,575 square yards of parking lot pavement. The project includes asphalt pavement section reconstruction, underdrain installation, pavement markings, signage installation, conduit, grading, timber rail installation and drainage improvements. The project will be bid as a Base Bid with 6 Bid Alternates. Prevailing wage rates apply. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. The project is sales tax exempt.

A complete set of Bid Documents, consisting of the General Provisions, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, Bid, Agreement and Contract Drawings, will be available on Thursday February 26 th , 2026 and may be obtained from Passero Associates at www.passero.com under the ‘BID’ tab for a fee of $25.00 (Non-refundable .

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Columbia County Airport on Thursday March 5 th , 2026 at 11:00 A.M.

Copies of the above described Contract Documents may be examined at no expense at the Columbia County Highway Department Garage-Engineering Office, 178 Route 23B, Hudson, New York 12534, and at the office of Passero Associates, 94 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12203 by appointment only. Technical questions shall be directed to Zach Hale of Passero Associates (email: zhale@passero.com . All questions shall be submitted no later than Thursday, March 12 th , 2026 .

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal.

The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any and all bids.
