COLUMBIA COUNTY ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Columbia County Department of Public Works Engineering Department invites sealed bids for furnishing all labor and materials necessary for the replacement of the Columbia County Public Safety Sliding Vehicle Gate Project at the existing Columbia County Public Safety Building, located at 85 Industrial Tract Road, Hudson, NY. The installation will include all required materials, tools, labor, new equipment; and expertise, under the requirements to remove and dispose of the existing vehicle sliding gate, operator and accessories, and the installation of vehicle cantilever slide gate, operator, accessories and appurtenances as required to provide a fully functional system. All such sealed proposals must be received by the office of the Columbia County Engineering Department, 178 Route 23B, Hudson, New York 12534 until 10:30AM on April 23rd, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Bids shall be contained in sealed envelopes, clearly marked "Columbia County Public Safety Building Vehicle Slide Gate Project”. Copies of the proposed contract documents and the forms of proposals for the contract, are available for pick up and for public inspection at the office of the Columbia County Engineering Department, 178 Route 23B, Hudson, New York 12534, during business hours, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and become available April 3, 2026. An electronic document is available upon request. The work shall be substantially completed within 180 calendar days of the date of the Notice to Proceed. All proposals shall be made and received upon the following conditions, which are more fully set forth in the bid documents: 1. Only such proposals as are made and filed upon the forms available in the Bid Documents will be accepted. 2. Proposals are to be enclosed in a sealed envelope. 3. Pursuant to the provisions of GML 105, no bids may be withdrawn unless no contract is awarded for more than 45 days after the opening thereof. 6. All bids shall contain the non-collusion certificate in a form meeting the requirements of GML 103-d. The County of Columbia reserves the right, in its discretion, to waive technical noncompliance or irregularities that are not material or substantial, and to reject all bids and to rebid the project.
