NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION 

SUBJECT TO 

PERMISSIVE

REFERENDUM




NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Groton, NY, at their meeting on February 17, 2026, adopted a resolution to withdraw up to a total of $23,400 from the Water Treatment & Distribution Capital Reserve to be used for equipment purchases.

The resolution authorizing such withdrawal is subject to permissive referendum.

Petition to put the resolution to referendum must be filed in my office within thirty (30) days of the adoption of said resolution, and if no such valid petition is filed by that date, the withdrawal authorized in the resolution is valid and can be undertaken by the Village Treasurer.
