ERIE COUNTY BID NOTICE Advertisement of Bids (ReBid) For Lancaster Central School District Capital Outlay Project 2025-26 Project No. (Lancaster Middle School): 14-19-01-06-0-002-023 Notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of the Lancaster Central School District, Erie County, NY, herein called the Owner, will receive sealed proposals for 2025-26 Capital Outlay Project at the Lancaster District Office Board Room at 177 Central Avenue, Lancaster NY on February 26th, 2026 at 3:00 pm. A deposit of $100.00 per set will be required & shall be made out to Lancaster Central School District.If you should have any questions, please contact Young + Wright Architectural @ 716-842-1800. A pre-bid conference will be held to discuss the scope of the projects, tour the site, and answer bidder questions on Thursday February 12th, 2026 at 3:30pm. The pre-conference shall start at the cafeteria of Lancaster Middle School, located at 148 Aurora Street, Lancaster, NY 14086. The deposit will be refunded to all Prime Contractor Bidders returning the drawings and specifications in good, unmarked condition within ten (10) working days after the bid opening. Prime contractors who are non-bidders returning complete sets in good, unmarked condition with the above time limit will be refunded also. No part of the deposit will be refunded for partial and/or damaged sets of the drawings and specifications. Bid bond payable to the owner shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to re-advertise for new bids and to waive informalities and irregularities in connection with any bid. Bidders will note the required conditions of employment and the minimum New York State Labor Department prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to advertise anew, and to award a contract for the whole or such portion of the work as it determines to be in the best interest of the District.
