ERIE COUNTY BID NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Hy-View Fire District No.8 of the Town of Cheektowaga, County of Erie, and State of New York, at a meeting held on February 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. adopted the following resolution: RESOLVED, that subject to a Permissive Referendum as provided for pursuant to Section 6-g of the General Municipal Law there be and hereby is appropriated out of the reserve fund designated as the "Hy-View Fire District No.8 Equipment Reserve Fund" of the Town of Cheektowaga, County of Erie, State of New York, the sum not to exceed one hundred and twenty thousand dollars to finance and pay for two (2) 2026 Chiefs Vehicles cost whereof may properly be financed from said "Hy-View Fire District No.8 Equipment Reserve Fund." AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, this Resolution is subject to a Permissive Referendum and shall not take effect until thirty (30) days after its adoption or until approved by a vote of Electors of the Fire District, if within thirty (30) days after its adoption there is filed a petition requiring a referendum pursuant to law.
