NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL (Pursuant to Sections 506 and 1526 of the Real Property Tax Law) HEARING OF COMPLAINTS Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the City of Hornell, County of Steuben, has completed the tentative assessment roll for the current year and that a copy has been left with the City Clerk at City Hall, 82 Main St, where it may be seen or examined by any interested person until March 3rd The Assessor will be in attendance with the tentative assessment roll. Please call ahead for an appointment. ROLL INSPECTIONS: Monday, February 23rd 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Tuesday, February 24th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM Wednesday, February 25th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Thursday February 26th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday February 28th from 10:00 PM to 2:00 PM The Board of Assessment review will meet on March 3rd between the hours of 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 P.M. All complaints heard at the Board of Assessment Review are by Appointment only. To schedule an appointment contact the Assessor’s Office @ 82 Main St., P.O. Box 627, Phone (607-324-7421).
