NOTICE TO BIDDERS PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to a resolution of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Westhampton Beach Fire District, sealed bids for a used 1,500 GPM Pumper, 2017 or newer, for the Fire District will be accepted at the office of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Westhampton Beach Fire District, 92 Sunset Avenue, Westhampton Beach NY 11978, until 4:00 PM (prevailing time) on the 24th day of February, 2026, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes at the above address and shall bear on the face thereof the name and address of the bidder and the words: “Used Apparatus Bid - Westhampton Beach Fire District.” Detailed specifications regarding bidding and equipment will be available at the offices of the Fire District between the hours of 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM on regular business days commencing immediately. The contract for the above item will be awarded by the Board of Fire Commissioners to the lowest responsible bidder. In cases where two or more responsible bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Board of Fire Commissioners may award the contract to either of such bidders. The Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right to reject all bids and/or to re-advertise for new bids in its discretion. No bids may be withdrawn by any bidder for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of bid opening.
