Invitation to Bid Queensbury Highway Boiler Replacement Project C.T. MALE ASSOCIATES CTMSpec/SpecLink TOWN OF QUEENSBURY BOILER REPLACEMENT SECTION 001116 INVITATION TO BID Sealed Bids will be received at the Town Clerks Office, by Mail or Hand Delivered to 742 Bay Road, Queensbury, New York 12804, until 10:00 AM local time on March 27, 2026. Bid will be opened and reviewed publicly for: TOWN OF QUEENSBURY BOILER REPLACEMENT 742 BAY ROAD, QUEENSBURY, NEW YORK 12804 The work includes, but is not limited to: The Town of Queensbury requires the replacement of two boilers serving the Highway Garage. The scope of work requires the complete removal of the existing boilers and the replacement with new boilers, appurtenances and required products to provide a complete and operating system. The Town of Queensbury will award One Prime Contracts as follows: CONTRACT NUMBER AND TYPE 1. Contract 01 - HVAC Bids will be received on a Stipulated Sum basis, including unit prices, alternates and allowances, in accordance with the Summary of Work as described in the Contract Documents. There will be a Pre-bid Conference, at 10:00AM local on February 17, 2026 at the project site, located at 742 Bay Road, Queensbury, New York 12804, to review the Bidding Documents, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Attendance at this meeting is recommended as representatives of the Owner and Architect will be present. No additional pre-bid conferences will be scheduled. The Final Completion of this Project shall be 120 days from the Commencement Date on the Notice to Proceed. The labor on this contract shall be performed in all respects in full accordance with the Labor Law of the State of New York. Contractors must conform to the New York State prevailing wage rate schedules which are annexed to and form a part of the specifications for this project. Bids should not include New York State sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work. In accordance with Section 103-d of the General Municipal Law, at the time Contractor submits its bid, an author- ized and responsible person shall execute and deliver a non-collusive bidding certification on Contractor's behalf. In accordance with Chapter 1 of the 2012 Laws of New York, the provision to State Finance Law (SFL) § 165-a and New York General Municipal Law § 103-g, at the time Contractor submits its bid, an authorized and responsible person shall execute and deliver a Certificate of Compliance with the Iran Divestment Act. Bids actually received by mail or by hand after the appointed time on the date specified shall be rejected, notwithstanding that such Bid may have been placed in a mail box or other mail receptacle regularly maintained by the United States Postal Service before such time, and ordinarily in sufficient time to have been delivered on time. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Orders No. 11246 and No. 11375, which pertain to nondiscrimination in employment. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under these orders are explained in the Bidding and Contract Documents. Drawings and Specifications may be examined on and after February 9, 2026 at C.T. If requested, documents will be sent by UPS Ground delivery at the non-refundable cost of $10.00 per set for postage and handling. If requested, documents can be mailed/delivered at the additional cost identified by the Print and Copy Center. Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time.
