Project Description :

The applicant proposes to construct a 50-foot by 60-foot one-story commercial building and associated parking, concrete walkway, stormwater drainage system, public sewer connection, and commercial sign within the Community portion of the Peconic River Corridor and partly within the 100-foot adjacent area of NYS regulated freshwater wetlands. Three existing one-story commercial structures and broken asphalt and concrete were previously removed from the site. Approximately 6,390 square feet of the southern portion of the site will be restored as native habitat and buffer, and an additional 3,970 square feet of the site will be landscaped to include native vegetation. The project is located at 305 West Main Street, Riverhead, Suffolk County Tax # 600-128-3-48.
