SUFFOLK COUNTY PUBLIC NOTICE New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Notice of Complete Application Date : 03/02/2026 Applicant : shreeji riverhead llc 930 ostrander ave riverhead, ny 11901 Facility : shreeji property 305 w main st,riverhead, ny 11901 |sctm 600-128-03-48 Application ID : 1-4730-01660/00003 Permit(s) Applied for : 1 – Article 24 Freshwater Wetlands1 – Article 15 Title 27 Wild, Scenic, & Recreational Rivers Project is located : in RIVERHEAD in SUFFOLK COUNTY Project Description : The applicant proposes to construct a 50-foot by 60-foot one-story commercial building and associated parking, concrete walkway, stormwater drainage system, public sewer connection, and commercial sign within the Community portion of the Peconic River Corridor and partly within the 100-foot adjacent area of NYS regulated freshwater wetlands. Three existing one-story commercial structures and broken asphalt and concrete were previously removed from the site. Approximately 6,390 square feet of the southern portion of the site will be restored as native habitat and buffer, and an additional 3,970 square feet of the site will be landscaped to include native vegetation. The project is located at 305 West Main Street, Riverhead, Suffolk County Tax # 600-128-3-48. Availability of Application Documents : Filed application documents, and Department draft permits where applicable, are available for inspection during normal business hours at the address of the contact person. To ensure timely service at the time of inspection, it is recommended that an appointment be made with the contact person. State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed. SEQR Lead Agency None Designated State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination Evaluation using a Structural-Archaeological Assessment Form or other information has concluded that the proposed activity will not impact registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures.
