NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING




PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held before the Trustees of the Village of Westhampton Beach at the Municipal Building, 165 Mill Rd, Westhampton Beach, New York, on the 5th day of March 2026, at 5:00 o'clock p.m. to consider a proposed local law entitled “A local law authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law section 3-c for the 2026-2027 fiscal year” This local law is intended to authorize the Village of Westhampton Beach to exceed the tax levy cap otherwise provided under New York State law for the Village’s 2026-2027 budget and fiscal year. A complete copy of the Local Law will be available for review at the Village Clerk's Office at Village Hall between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm or by emailing clerk@westhamptonbeach.org.

The Board of Trustees will hear all persons interested at the public hearing to be held as aforesaid and may appear in person or by agent or by attorney. The Village of Westhampton Beach does provide handicapped access to all public meetings. Anyone needing special assistance should call Denise Mordente, Handicapped Access Coordinator, at 631-288-1654.
