NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 6, 2026, the Essex Coun- ty Board of Supervi- sors duly adopted Lo- cal Law No. 2 of 2026, continuing the imposi- tion of a hotel/motel occupancy tax in Es- sex County as autho- rized by New York Tax Law §1202(s); and

PLEASE TAKE FUR- THER NOTICE that this Local Law shall re- main in full force and effect for a period of three (3) years from the date of enactment by the Board of Super- visors; except that nothing shall prohibit or prevent the adoption and enactment of sub- sequent local laws continuing or imposing the tax authorized hereby after the expira- tion of this or any other local law adopted and enacted pursuant to the provision of Part T of §1 of Chapter 406 of the Laws of 1999 and NYS Tax Law §1202 (s); and
