LIVINGSTON COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE N O T I C E O F F I L I N G T E N T A T I V E A S S E S S M E N T R O L L (Pursuant to Section 506 of the Real Property Tax Law) Notice is hereby given that the Assessor has completed the TENTATIVE Assessment Roll for the Town of Avon in the County of Livingston for the year 2026. The Roll will be filed May 1, 2026 and may be seen and examined by any person until the fourth Tuesday of May. The Board of Assessment Review will meet to hear complaints at The Avon Town Hall located at 27 Genesee St, Avon, NY, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 4:00-8:00pm. Grievance forms are available in the Assessor’s office or online at www.tax.ny.gov. The Assessor will be in attendance with the roll at The Avon Assessor’s Office located at 27 Genesee St, Avon, NY on Wednesday’s May 6,13,20 from 9:30-12:00 and 1:30-3:00 . It is also available on the Town of Avon website or Livingston County Real Property website. In accordance with Section 526 of the Real Property Tax Law, a publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment are available at the Assessor's Office or on the website.
