GENESEE COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF FILING TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL (Pursuant to Section 506 of the Real Property Tax Law) Notice is hereby given that the Assessor has completed the TENTATIVE Assessment Roll for the City of Batavia in the County of Genesee for the year 2026. The Roll is on file as below, on the City of Batavia website, the Genesee County PROS website and may be seen and examined by any person until the Thursday after the Fourth Tuesday of May. The Board of Assessment Review will meet to hear complaints at: One Batavia City Centre on May 28, 2026 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Roll at the City Clerk’s office at One Batavia City Centre: May 8, May 15 & May 22 from 8:30 pm-4:30 or an evening/Saturday by appointment. In accordance with Section 526 of the Real Property Tax Law, a publication containing the procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor’s Office.
