GENESEE COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF FILING TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL (Pursuant to Section 506 of the Real Property Tax Law)Notice is hereby given that the Assessor has completed the TENTATIVE Assessment Roll for the Town of Batavia in the County of Genesee for the year 2026. The Roll is on file and may be seen as below, on the Town of Batavia website and on the Genesee County PROS site to be examined by any person until the Fourth Tuesday of May. The Board of Assessment Review will hear complaints on: Tuesday May 26, 2026 from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm at the Batavia Town Hall 3833 West Main St Rd. The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Roll at the Town Assessor’s office on: May 6, May 13, May 20 Or an evening/Saturday by appointment. In accordance with Section 526 of the Real Property Tax Law, a publication containing the procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor’s Office.
