NOTICE OF FLUSHING




TO THE CUSTOMERS OF THE CHAUTAUQUA UTILITY DISTRICT




Flushing of water mains will begin on:

Monday, May 18, 2026, and continue through Thursday, May 21, 2026. 



Flushing will begin at the South End of the Chautauqua Institution grounds and proceed to the North End. Hours for flushing will begin at 9 A.M. and end at 5 P.M. daily.




This may cause roily water during flushing in the immediate area. Do not draw water into hot water tanks, boilers or do laundry during flushing in the immediate area. Let cold water run for a few minutes until no discoloration is observed.
