NASSAU COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING IN RELATION TO TENTATIVE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JUNE 1, 2026 TO MAY 31, 2027 VILLAGE OF GARDEN CITY PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Section 5-508 of the Village Law of the State of New York, a Tentative Budget showing the revenue and expenditures for the fiscal year of the Village of Garden City, New York, commencing June 1, 2026 was filed with the Village Clerk of said Village. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of said Village on the 23rd day of April 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at the Village Hall, 351 Stewart Avenue, in said Village as well as via Zoom for the purpose of considering and discussing such Tentative Budget. A copy of such Tentative Budget is available on the Village’s website (www.gardencityny.net), as well as in the office of the Village Clerk located at 351 Stewart Avenue, where it may be inspected by any interested person during office hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The tentative budget does not provide for any compensation to any member of the Board of Trustees, as the Mayor and Trustees of said Village serve without remuneration.
