OSWEGATCHIE LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL (Pursuant to Section 506 and 526 of Real Property Tax Law) and Hearing of Complaints. Notice is hereby given that the Assessor for the Town of Oswegatchie/Village of Heuvelton, County of St. Lawrence has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and that a copy will be left with the Town Clerk at 51 State Street, Heuvelton, New York, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until the first Thursday after the fourth Tuesday in May. The Tentative Assessment Roll is also available for viewing on the Town of Oswegatchie website – www.townofoswegatchie.gov or the St. Lawrence County website – www.stlawco.gov. The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Roll by appointment, at 51 State Street, Heuvelton, New York, on Thursday, May 7th and Thursday, May 14th, and Saturday May 16th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Assessor will also be in attendance, by appointment on Monday, May 18th, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Thursday, May 28, 2026, between the hours of 4:00 to 8:00 pm at 51 State Street, Heuvelton, New York in said Town to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, on the application of any person believing himself to be aggrieved.
