GENESEE COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF FILING TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL (Pursuant to Section 506 of the Real Property Tax Law) Notice is hereby given that the Assessor has completed the TENTATIVE Assessment Roll for the Town of Oakfield in the County of Genesee for the year 2026. The roll is on file and may be seen online @townofoakfieldny.com. The Board of Assessment Review will meet to hear complaints at 3219 Drake St. Oakfield Town Hall on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 1pm to 3pm and 6pm to 8pm. Please call 585-734-8372 or barreas@rochester.rr.com for details. Formal complaints will need to be filed with all documentation by 1 pm May 27, 2026. Forms may be left at the Town anytime prior to May 27, 2026. The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Roll at 3219 Drake St –Oakfield,NY - Community & Government Center on Tuesdays thru Thursdays from 11am to 3pm; Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 from 6pm to 8pm and Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 8am to 12 noon - all by appointment only by calling 585-734-8372 by May 14, 2026 or barreas@rochester.rr.com. All assessment data available at geneseecounty.prosgar.com. In accordance with Section 526 of the Real Property Tax Law, a publication containing the procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor’s Office.
