VILLAGE OF SPRING VALLEY SENATOR EUGENE LEVY MUNICIPAL PLAZA 200 NORTH MAIN STREET SPRING VALLEY, NEW YORK 10977 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF SPRING VALLEY REGARDING A PROPOSED TAX CAP OVERRIDE FOR THE 2026-2027 FISCAL YEAR PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Spring Valley (hereinafter the “Village”), pursuant to the provisions of the General Municipal Law § 3-c, will hold a Public Hearing on the 29th day of April, 2026, at 8:15 p.m., at Village Hall, 200 North Main Street, Spring Valley, New York, or as soon thereafter as the matter may come on to be heard, for the purpose of hearing public comment on a proposed local law and/or resolution to override the tax levy limit established by General Municipal Law § 3-c for the Village’s 2026-2027 fiscal year. Copies of the proposed local law and/or resolution authorizing the Village to override the tax levy limit, together with any related materials, are available at the Office of the Village Clerk for inspection by any interested person during the hours of 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. At such public hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that members of the public attending the meeting in person, or via Zoom, will have the opportunity to speak and provide comments. In addition to such live comments, comments for the public hearing can be (1) sent in advance of the meeting, or any time before Noon on the day of the commencement of the Meeting, to the Village Clerk via email, at osweet@villagespringvalley.org. To the extent one cannot attend the meeting and does not have access to the internet, comments can also be made to the Village Clerk, in person, or via phone, at (845) 352–1100, by no later than Noon on the day of the Meeting above noted.
