SUFFOLK COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE TO BIDDERS PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Greenport is soliciting sealed bids for: VILLAGE OF GREENPORT SIDEWALK SAW CUTTING SERVICES, ON SPECIFIED VILLAGE OF GREENPORT SIDEWALKS – 2026. The Village of Greenport will accept sealed bids only at the Office of the Village Clerk, Greenport Village Hall, 236 Third Street, Greenport, New York 11944, during the regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. from Thursday, February 26, 2026 until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at which time all timely received sealed bids will be opened. Bids received after that date and time will be considered non-compliant and rejected. VILLAGE OF GREENPORT SIDEWALK SAW CUTTING SERVICES, ON SPECIFIED VILLAGE OF GREENPORT SIDEWALKS – 2026 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work to be performed consists principally of the provision of sidewalk saw cutting services on specified Village of Greenport sidewalks, including the cutting and leveling of uneven sidewalk surfaces, as directed by the Village. Copies of Bid and Contract Documents may be obtained on or after Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. at the Office of the Village Clerk, Greenport Village Hall, 236 Third Street, Greenport, New York 11944, and are available on the official Village of Greenport website: villageofgreenport.gov Bids must be filed in accordance with the specifications of the Village of Greenport and General Municipal Law Section 103. Bids should indicate on the outside of the sealed envelope: VILLAGE OF GREENPORT SIDEWALK SAW CUTTING SERVICES, ON SPECIFIED VILLAGE OF GREENPORT SIDEWALKS – 2026 Bids must be either hand-delivered to the Village Hall as indicated or sent by overnight mail to be received no later than 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026. The Village of Greenport reserves the right to reject any/all bids or to waive any irregularity in a bid and further reserves the right to accept the lowest responding bid that is deemed to be in the best interest of the Village of Greenport. The work performed under this contract is subject to the prevailing wage and contractor registration requirements of the New York State Labor Law. This project is subject to applicable prevailing wage requirements. Contractors and subcontractors shall comply with all Federal, State, and local labor laws, including but not limited to the Davis-Bacon Act and New York State Labor Law Article 8, as applicable.
