ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID The Middletown and New Jersey Railroad (MNJ) is solic- iting bids from interested parties for the purchase of railroad track materials, including rail, OTM, ties, turnouts, and ballast. Sealed bids will be received at the MNJ corporate office, 505 South Broad Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened at that time. The bid opening will also be conducted virtually via Micro- soft Teams. All bidders who have confirmed their intent to bid with the Engineer will receive a link to the virtual bid opening. Electronic copies of the Bid Packages may be obtained at no cost by email- ing Drew Bessette, P.E., at dbessette@benesch.com. No pre-bid meeting will be held. This project is partially funded by NYSDOT and is therefore subject to all applicable requirements of the PFRAP program. M/WBE participa- tion goals are 0%. The Railroad reserves the right to waive any informalities, accept any bid, reject any or all bids, and adjust the scope of work to align with available funding, as deemed to be in its best interest.
