LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL (Pursuant to Section 506 and 526 of the Real Property Tax Law)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor of the Town of Highlands, Orange County, New York, has completed the Tentative Roll for the current year and that a copy has been filed with the Town Clerk at her office at 254 Main Street, Highland Falls, NY where it may be examined by any interested person until May 26, 2026.
The Board of Assessment Review will meet (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY) on May 26, 2026 between the hours of 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at the Highland Falls Library located at 298 Main Street Highland Falls to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments on the application of any person believing themselves to be aggrieved. The Assessor or designee will be in attendance with the Tentative Roll in her office, (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY) on Thursday, May 7th from 9am to 11am and 5pm to 7pm; Monday, May 11th 9am to 1pm; Tuesday, May 19th 5pm to7pm; Saturday, and May 23rd 9am to 1pm.
