Taxiway A Rehabilitation

Sealed Bids will be received at the Airport Administration Office, 134 Wright Brothers Way, Fletcher, NC 28732, on behalf of the Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority (Authority), until and not later than June 18, 2026, at 10:00 am for the following project: TAXIWAY A REHABILITATION. If bids are unable to be opened on the bid date, a second bid date and time is established with sealed bids being received until and not later than June 25, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
A Pre-Bid Conference for this project will be held on May 26, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Department of Public Safety (DPS) Building, 136 Wright Brothers Way, Fletcher, NC 28732. Attendance by prospective bidders is highly recommended but not mandatory.
Bid Documents will be available starting May 18, 2026, and may be obtained at https://bidroom.duncan-parnell.com/, or be reviewed at the Airport Administration Office, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (EST).
All Contractors and subcontractors are hereby notified that they shall have proper Contractor's licenses as required by the state laws governing their respective trade and discipline of work in the state where this project is located. Contractors must be listed on the NCDOT Prequalified list as a bidder or Prime to bid on this project and prequalified by the NCDOT to perform the work pertaining to their specific scope of work in the contract. The prime contractor for the project must be prequalified by the NCDOT as a prime per the latest from NCDOT. Notice is hereby given that the bid documents for this project do not require a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), nor Women Business Enterprise (WBE) contract goal. All other aspects of the Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority DBE Program must be administered.
Bids submitted by Contractors not meeting the above bidding requirements at the time of the bid opening may be deemed unresponsive by the Authority.
