Notice of Public Hearing
City of Landrum, South Carolina

Public Hearing for Rezoning of Tax Map Number 1-08-00-035.12 from Agricultural (AG) to Residential (R-1).  Planning Commission Case number RZ-2026-01.
Notice is hereby given that the City of Landrum will hold a public hearing before the Planning Commission on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 5:30pm at Landrum City Hall, located at 100 N. Shamrock Ave., Landrum, SC. 
The purpose of this hearing is to consider a rezoning action to amend the City's zoning map to rezone approximately 43.22 acres located on the W. side of Fairwinds Rd. and E. of Campbell Ave., identified at Tax Map Number 1-08-00-035.12 from Agricultural (AG) to Residential (R-1) in order to build an elementary school. 
All interested persons are invited to attend this hearing and will be given the opportunity to be heard regarding the proposed action.
