LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR BIDS # 26-002 DESIGN/BUILD CRITERIA FUEL FARM JET-A TANK REPLACEMENT AND FUEL STORAGE FACILITY REHABILITATION AT THE GAINESVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority (GACRAA) is soliciting sealed bids for the GNV Design/Build Criteria Fuel Farm Jet-A Fuel Tank Replacement & Rehabilitation project. The work shall include turn-key delivery and on-site installation of three (3) 15,000-gallon horizontal, single wall, Jet-A fuel tanks in a secondary fuel spill containment area and replacement of Jet-A pump and motor, fuel filtration tank, static relaxation tank, piping, valves, and miscellaneous appurtenances. Additional work includes removal of two (2) 600-gallon diesel tank systems, and two (2) 600-gallon Mogas systems, and off-site replacement with a new Diesel and Mogas tank system. The Design/Build Contractor shall provide necessary permits and ensure the tank(s) and all appurtenances shall meet all applicable requirements of API, NFPA, Florida DEP, ASME, UL and other regulatory agencies as required by Chapter 62-761, of the Florida Administrative Code. In addition, provisions for an update to the Fuel Farm Spill Prevention Control and Counter Measures (SPCC) Plan with Mandatory Training by the successful contractor shall be included. The Design/Build Criteria Plans and Specifications for the project may be obtained from the offices of AVCON, INC. Digital copies are available at no charge; hard copies will not be provided. Criteria Plans and Specifications will be available, after 8:00 AM on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. PLEASE NOTE: To ensure you are apprised of changes to project requirements and receive all Addenda, you must register with AVCON and be on the Plan Holders' List to bid the project. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Gainesville Regional Airport, Passenger Terminal Board Room, 3880 N.E. 39th Avenue, Gainesville, Florida 32609. A site visit of the project areas will be conducted immediately following the pre-bid conference. Each participant shall provide their own transportation. Other site visits may be scheduled by appointment at the convenience of the Airport by calling (352)-373-0249. Bids must be signed by an authorized official of the Design/Build entity, enclosed in a sealed envelope or package clearly marked: "Project No. 26-002 ?
