BEAVER TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENTInvitation to Bid "Tanker/Pumper" NOTICE TO BIDDERSSealed bids for a Tanker/Pumper will be received by Beaver Township, Mahoning County, Ohio, at the Beaver Township Administrative Building, 11822 South Avenue, North Lima, Ohio 44452 until 12 p.m. EST on April 21, 2026. Bids will be opened at a special meeting on April 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. EST. The Bid will be awarded at a special meeting on April 28, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.Specifications and bid documents may be obtained at the Beaver Township Administrative Building, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday or online by emailing the Beaver Township Fire Chief at btfdchief21@beavertwp-oh.gov. All questions regarding the bid specifications, bid documents or procedures should be directed to the Beaver Township Fire Chief at (330) 549-2133, Ext. 1121 or btfdchief21@beavertwp-oh.gov.Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name, address, and marked "Tanker/Pumper Bid - Beaver Township, Ohio DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 4:00 p.m. EST on April 21, 2026" shown on the outside. Bids must be accompanied by complete descriptive matter and a completed contract or quote attachment, non-collusion affidavit, non-discrimination affidavit, statement of bidder qualifications and political contribution certificate that are provided with the specifications. Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time will neither be read nor considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder.Each bid shall contain the full name of each person submitting the bid and must be accompanied by a contract bond in the amount of 100% of the bid; or a certified check, cashier's check or money order on a solvent bank or savings and loan association, payable to Beaver Township in the amount of 5% of the bid, conditioned that the bidder, if the bidder's bid is accepted, shall execute a contract in conformity to the invitation and the bid. Bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders within thirty (30) days of the contract award.
