INVITATION TO BID SEALED BIDS for the furnishing of the necessary materials and construction of the OTTAWA COUNTY DANBURY WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT CHEMICAL FEED IMPROVEMENTS OTTAWA COUNTY, OHIO Will be received by Ottawa County, Ohio at the office of the Board of Commissioners, 315 Madison Street, Port Clinton, OH 43452 until 10:00 (Local Time) May 28, 2026 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. The scope of work consists of furnishing all supplies for and constructing a chemical storage and feed system and placing it in operation. The Project will be financed with local funds and the Contract Documents reflect requirements of the County. Bidding Documents are being issued from Fishbeck's Perrysburg office. Bidders should direct questions and correspondence to that office. Bidding Documents may be examined at the following locations after Monday, May 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. After the award of the contract let by competitive bid and prior to the time the contract is entered into, bidders shall submit the affidavit required under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Ottawa County, Ohio. Ottawa County reserves the right pursuant to ORC.9.312 to reject any and all bids and to waive any non-material irregularity in determining the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bids must state the unit prices in the blanks provided and be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked --- Danbury Township WWTP Chemical Feed Improvements --- and addressed to Board of Ottawa County Commissioners, Ottawa County, 315 Madison Street, Room 103, Port Clinton, OH 43452. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
