RESOLUTION NO. 2026-20 CITY OF CLYDE, OHIOESTABLISHING A WAGE SCALE FOR SEASONAL AND INTERN WORKERSWHEREAS this Council, through Ordinance 2024-24, set forth a schedule of calculated pay rate adjustments for seasonal and intern workers based on the annually adjusted State minimum wage to ensure that wage growth keeps pace with increases in the cost of living based on changes to the consumer price index or its successor index; and,WHEREAS this Council wishes to eliminate the tiered system in the previously established schedule to reduce complexity and ensure competitiveness in hiring employees.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Clyde, State of Ohio:SECTION 1. The hourly wage calculations for seasonal and intern workers attached hereto and marked “Exhibit A” are to be established within the City of Clyde, effective starting the first pay period following the adoption date of this Resolution.SECTION 2. The calculated 2026 seasonal wages are attached hereto and marked “Exhibit B” for reference. SECTION 3. The City will reimburse lifeguards for certification and recertification costs upon submission of receipts and approval of the department superintendent.SECTION 4.
