NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – DELAWARE-DEFIANCE JOINT
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT I

Please take notice that the City Council of the City of Defiance, Ohio will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday,  April  7,  2026  at  7:00  p.m.  at  the  Charles  D.  Beard  Community  Room,  631 Perry Street, 
Defiance, OH 43512, regarding creation of the Delaware-Defiance Joint Economic Development District I (the “JEDD”). The proposed JEDD will include 13 parcels within the JEDD boundaries for the purpose of facilitating economic development to create jobs and employment opportunities.

The public is invited to make comments and recommendations on the proposed creation of the JEDD. Documents and materials related to the creation of the JEDD and the terms of the operation of the JEDD may be examined at the offices of the City of Defiance Council Clerk at City Hall, 631 Perry Street, City of Defiance, Ohio 43512 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
