NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Plain Township Board of Zoning Appeals has scheduled public hearings on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. at the Plain Township Fire Station located at 9500 Johnstown Road, New Albany, to consider the following applications: Variance Application 03-10-2026-01 – 7943 Schleppi Road – requesting variances under Section 206.04.1 and 206.01.2 to allow the applicant to reduce the required lot size to 1.142 acres instead of the required 2.5 acres; and to reduce the required 200' of ROW to 140' to allow for a lot split. Variance Application 03-10-2026-02 – 8186 Bevelhymer Road – requesting a variance under Section 406.02 to allow an accessory structure 2944 SF larger than the allowed 3120 SF. The text and materials of the Variance Applications will be posted to the Plain Township website at www.plaintownship.org and available for public examination from Tuesday, March 31, 2026 through Tuesday, April 14, 2026, inclusive, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Plain Township offices located at 45 Second Street, New Albany 43054.
