            LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ZONING AMENDMENT Sharon Township Zoning Commission  The Sharon Township Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed amendment to the Sharon Township Zoning Resolution adopted on July 11, 2024.  The purpose and intent of the public hearing is to add regulations to the Zoning Resolution to include definitions for Fencing and Pools/ Spas and add fencing requirements for pools in the township. The hearing will be held April 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Sharon Township Administration Building, 1322 Sharon Copley Road, Sharon Center, Ohio. The application to amend the zoning resolution will be available for public examination for period of ten business days from Friday, April 3, 2026 through Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the public hearing on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sharon Township Administration Building, 1322 Sharon Copley Road, Sharon Center, Ohio. The person responsible for giving notice of the public hearing by publication or by mail is Melissa Hydel, Zoning Clerk for Sharon Township. This matter has been forwarded to the Medina County Department of Planning Services and the Township Attorney for their review.  At the conclusion of this hearing, this matter will be forwarded to the Board of Sharon Township Trustees.
