CALL FOR BIDSNotice is hereby given that bids will be received via Virtual Bid at 2:00 PM Wednesday May 27th 2026, and then publicly opened and tabulated for the Columbia Theater Parking lot paving, Longview, Washington, Capital Improvement Project # 2671.
The project provides for the grinding and installation of new HMA pavement, across two lots, including striping new signage, curb stops tree wells, ADA ramp , a new lighting fixture, and a secondary driveway approach. And any other incidentals necessary to complete the specified work in accordance with the contract plans, contract provisions and standard specifications.

Bidders must register as a bidder on Virtual Bid. To submit an electronic bid, request access to the open bid. Once approved, the bid will be added to your company's bids, where you can view and complete your submission.
Bidding documents may be examined in Owner's office, City of Longview, Washington - Engineering Division, 1525 Broadway, Longview, WA. Bidding documents may also be viewed online at www.mylongview.com/pwbid.
It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to learn of Addenda, if any. Such information may be obtained via Virtual Bid. The City of Longview accepts no responsibility or liability and will provide no accommodation to bidders who fail to check for addenda and submit inadequate or incorrect responses.
All work performed on this project will be subject to the Washington State prevailing wage rates.
Cash, cashier's check, certified check, and/or bid bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total bid price shall accompany all bids. Electronic bid bonds in the form of a certified PDF or bid bond token will be accepted through Virtual Bid. Cash, cashier's check, and physical bonds must be submitted in person by the bid submittal deadline to City of Longview, City Manager's Office, City Hall.

The City Council reserves the right to: reject any and/or all bids; accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the City; waive any informalities in the bidding; delay the award of the bid until a regular Council meeting.
Any bid bond securities delivered to City shall be sealed with the outside of the envelope boldly marked to indicate that it contains bid bond securities, the bid opening date, and the specific project involved.
All contractors must be licensed in the State of Washington to conduct business.
