HH26-212 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS ON PROPOSED SECOND AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE #64 CONCERNING DOGS AT LARGE; LICENSING, IMPOUNDMENT CARE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE APPLICABILITY OF THIS ORDINANCE WITHIN CERTAIN INCORPORATED CITIES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY Notice is hereby given that two (2) Public Hearings shall be held before the Board of Commissioners for Tillamook County pursuant to ORS 203.045(3). The first Public Hearing shall be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 9:45 a.m. The second Public Hearing shall be held on June 10, 2026, at 9:45 a.m. The Public Hearings will be held in the Board of Commissioners' Meeting Room 106 in the Tillamook County Courthouse, 201 Laurel Avenue, Tillamook, Oregon 97141; Teleconference 971-254- 3149, ID: 866 914 607#. The purpose of these Public Hearings will be to receive public testimony concerning the proposed second amendment to Ordinance #64 prohibiting the running of dogs at large; providing for the licensing, impoundment and care of dogs; providing for the applicability of this ordinance within certain incorporated cities; repealing prior enactments and establishing penalties for violations of this ordinance and declaring an emergency. Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available on the Tillamook County web site at https://www.tillamookcounty.gov/ordinances. Paper copies are available in the Tillamook County Board of Commissioners' Office. Interested persons can obtain more information by contacting the County Commissioners' Office at (503) 842-3403.
