Bids are invited for a new pickup truck by March 10, 2026.

INVITATION TO BID
Sealed proposals, in duplicate, will be received by the Executive Director of the State College  Borough Water Authority until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the  Authority's offices, 1201 West Branch Road, State College, PA, at which time, date and place  such proposals will be opened and read publicly for the following Contract: 

CONTRACT NO. 02-2026 One (1) "NEW" 2026 Four Wheel Drive Super/Heavy Duty DRW Pickup Truck with Crew Cab or Equal 

Detailed specifications for the above-mentioned Contracts are available at the Authority  office. 

Bids to include title, notary and municipal plates fees. The vehicle warranty and the number of days until delivery are to be specified in the bid document. Bids are to be submitted on the Proposal form contained herein. Any deviation from the specifications is to be noted on the 
submitted bid documents. 

All bids shall be in a sealed envelope plainly marked:

The bidder agrees that the bid price shall be firm thru the date of delivery. 

All prospective bidders must be located within a One Hundred Twenty-Five (125) mile radius of State College, PA.

In accordance with Pennsylvania State Act 18 of 1985, the vehicle delivered shall be manufactured or assembled in North America. 

The State College Borough Water Authority is exempt from state sales taxes and taxes are not to be included in the bid amount. 

The State College Borough Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or items therein, to waive any defects or irregularities in bids and to accept any bid which, in its judgement, is for its best interest.
