49702/19/2026https://www.post-gazette.com/PublicNoticesNotice is hereby given that the Sewickley Borough Council will consider authorization of the 2026 Shade Tree Removal Plan at its public meeting on March 10, 2026, at 601 Thorn Street, Sewickley PA. 15143. The Plan proposes to remove certain public shade trees located in Borough rights-of-way for reasons including disease, structural failure, obstruction of public infrastructure, and public safety concerns. The proposed removals include trees located at or near the following streets or portions of streets: 338 Frederick, 300 Chadwick, 614 & 623 Nevin, 338, 416, 524, 542, 554, & 604 Centennial, 409, 421, 531, 550, 601, 616, & 607 Broad. 719, 823, & 828 Thorn. Members of the public may attend and comment before Council votes. Questions regarding the proposed removals may be directed to Borough Administration prior to the meeting.4666327A
