DESIGNATED TRUCK ROUTES: AN ORDINANCE NO. 2025-11-02 OF THE CITY OF TROY, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ADD SECTION 12.06.001, “DESIGNATED TRUCK ROUTES,” ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR THE OPERATION OF TRACTOR-TRAILERS AND COMMERCIAL VEHICLES WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS; DESIGNATING FM 935 (EAST MAIN STREET) AND WEST MAIN STREET, AS APPROVED TRUCK ROUTES; PROHIBITING THROUGH-TRUCK TRAFFIC ON ALL OTHER CITY STREETS; PROVIDING AN EXCEPTION FOR LOCAL DELIVERIES WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY DELIVERY DOCUMENTATION; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION AS A CLASS C MISDEMEANOR PUNISHABLE BY FINE NOT TO EXCEED $500.00; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON PUBLICATION.
