SECOND PUBLIC HEARING
York County Housing & Neighborhood Revitalization Division will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 5:00 pm at St John Baptist Church located at 1397 Penniman Rd #1, Williamsburg VA 23185 to solicit public input on the proposed Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) proposal to be submitted to the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development for the York Terrace Northwest Housing Rehabilitation Project. Residents of the project area are encouraged to attend. The York Terrace Northwest Housing Rehabilitation Project will include the following activities: Housing Rehabilitation and Substantial Reconstruction. The draft CDBG proposal will be presented for comment along with information on projected beneficiaries, including the number of low-and moderate-income residents to benefit from the proposed project, and plans to minimize displacement. Citizens will also be given the opportunity to comment on York County's past use of CDBG funds.
