BIDS DUE Submit Bids to the Office of Construction and Design, Rm. 153 in
the North Thurston Public Schools Support Services Center,
located at 6620 Carpenter Road SE, Lacey, WA 98503.
Sealed Bid for this project will be received up to 2:00 PM on
Wednesday June 3, 2026, for the General Contract, stamped and held.
Bids received after the dates and hours stated above may not receive
consideration.
Each bid and other enclosures shall be enclosed in an opaque, sealed
envelope, bearing the name and address of the Bidder and addressed to
North Thurston Public Schools. Please mark the envelope
"Bid – Olympic View Elementary Parking Lot Improvements".
PRE-BID CONFERENCE A pre-bid conference will be offered, meet at front entrance of
Olympic View Elementary, 1330 Horne Ave. NE Lacey, WA 98516
at 10:00 AM on Wednesday May 13, 2026. It is recommended that all
companies intending to bid as a prime contractor have an employee of
the company attend and identify themselves and the company on the
sign-in sheet.

SECTION 000100 – ADVERTISEMENT TO BID
BID DOCUMENTS Bid Documents may be obtained beginning Tuesday May 5, 2026, from American
Reprographics Company (ARC), 632 Broadway, Tacoma, WA 98402,
telephone (800) 337-8103, fax (253) 272-4064. A DEPOSIT of
$250.00 is required for each set, payable to American Reprographics
Company. Bonafide Prime General Contractors may obtain a
maximum of (2) sets and other bidders may obtain a maximum of (1)
set of bidding documents on deposit. Additional Copies of documents
may be purchased directly from ARC for the cost of printing. Plans,
specifications, addenda and plan holders list for this project are
available for on-line at, https://www.e-arc.com/location/tacoma/, scroll
down to Solutions & Services, Planrooms, click link "Enter Public
Planroom" and search for the project.
BID DOCUMENT RETURN Deposits will be returned to Bidders upon return of the Bid Documents
to the Issuer of the documents in good condition within 10 days
following Bid Opening.
BID BOND Accompany each bid with a certified check, cashier's check, or surety
company bid bond in an amount not less than 5 percent of the Base
Bid. Make payable to North Thurston Public Schools.
PREVAILING WAGES Pursuant to RCW 39.12, no workman, laborer, or mechanic employed
in performance of any part of the contract shall be paid less than the
"prevailing rate of wage" (in effect as of the date that bids are due for
the locality within the state where such labor was performed) as
determined by the Industrial Statistician of the Dept. of Labor and
Industries. Copies of the prevailing wage rate schedule are available
directly from the Dept. of Labor and Industries website.

RIGHT TO REJECT The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive
informalities and irregularities in the bidding, and to accept bids which
are considered to be in the best interests of the Owner.
RESERVED RIGHTS The right is reserved by North Thurston Public Schools to postpone
contract award for the period of forty-five (45) days after the bid
opening. North Thurston Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity

WITHDRAW OF BID Bidders may not withdraw bids after time set for the Bid Opening,
unless Award of Contract is delayed for a period exceeding 45 days.
