CITY OF MONTESANO CALL FOR BIDS "A-Line" EXPORT RESTRICTED TIMBER SALE, No. MTS2026-1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 18th, 2026 at 9:00 A.M. sealed bids will be opened by an authorized representative of the City of Montesano, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 112 N. Main Street, Montesano, Washington, for the purchase of an estimated 2,494 MBF of standing 45-year-old timber on 105 acres. The timber to be sold hereunder shall be sold on a Lump Sum " basis. Timber volume estimates are shown below; the City, by making such estimates, neither warrants nor limits the quantity of timber hereunder. Species Net Volume Douglas Fir 1,949 MB Western Hemlock 493 MBF Western Red Cedar 3 MBF Red Alder 5 0 MBF Sale Total 2,494 MBF The City of Montesano reserves the privilege of rejecting all bids and not making an award of bid. The award of bid, if made by the City, will be made to the qualified bidder submitting the highest and best bid, but the City shall determine at and in its own discretion whether it is in the best interest of the City to accept the bid. The timber is located in Section19+ 29+31 of Township 18 North, Range 7 West, W.M., Grays Harbor County, Washington.
