Speed reduction notice on SR 395 MP 25.40 to MP 37.67
Pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and RCW 47.48.020, notice is hereby given by the Washington State Department of Transportation that the posted speed limit of 70 MPH on SR 395 in both directions from MP 25.40 to MP 37.67 will permanently be reduced to a legal speed limit of 65 MPH and will be signed accordingly, beginning on March 30, 2026.
This speed reduction was proposed to extend the 65 MPH for an additional 12 miles. This request was submitted by the South Central Region based on traffic and engineering study. The Washington State Patrol concurs with this recommendation.
