Noxious Weed Control Board Expiring Positions Clark County is accepting applications to fill two seats on a five-person board that adopts regulations necessary for an effective noxious weed control program. The board positions represent the following districts: District 1: Bounded by the East Fork Lewis River on the north, Northeast 50th Avenue on the east and the Columbia River on the south and west. District 5: Bounded by the Clark/Cowlitz county line on the north, the Clark/Skamania County line on the east, the East Fork Lewis River on the south, and a line running north from Heisson Bridge following the west boundary of Range 3 E on the west. Board members serve four-year terms. People interested in serving must live in one of the two districts. A map showing the five districts is available at https://clark.wa.gov/public-works/weed-board. At least three of the voting members shall be engaged in the primary production of agricultural products. Application packets are available by calling 564.397.6140 or sending email to weed.board@clark.wa.gov.
