WHATCOM COUNTY NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A SHORT PLAT ALTERATION
Notice is hereby given that on October 23, 2025, Greg, Taya & Sharon Kesslau applied for a Short Plat Alteration under case number SSS2025-00010 to revise an access and utility easement and reduce the number of lots from three (3) to two (2). The application was determined complete on November 7, 2025 indicating that all submittal requirements were met. The subject property is located at 1133, 1155 & 1175 Chuckanut Drive within Section 24, Township 37, Range 02 of W.M. Assessor's parcel number(s): 3702244673580000 & 3702244623830000. The application will be reviewed under the Official Whatcom County Zoning and Critical Areas Ordinances, as well as reviews by Whatcom County Planning and Development Services (Fire Marshal's Office, Natural Resources and Planning), Public Works Engineering and Health Department. The file and supporting documents may be reviewed at Whatcom County Planning and Development Services, 5280 Northwest Drive, Bellingham, WA 98226. Any person may submit written comments to Charles Sullivan, the above address or at csulliva@co.whatcom.wa.us, within 14 days of the publication of this notice.  Written comments must be received by March 23, 2026.
