WHATCOM COUNTY NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AN ADMINISTRATIVE USE PERMIT Notice is hereby given that on October 17, 2025, John Jeffries applied for a Administrative Use Permit under case number ADM2025-00028 to install a ~762 square foot single-wide manufactured home onto the property as a Temporary Accessory Dwelling Unit pursuant to WCC 20.36.131 to provide care for an aging family member. The property is 4.69 acres in lot size and contains an existing single-family residence, shop, and barn on the property. The proposed manufactured home will share the same access point off of West Smith Road as the existing single-family residence. The property is served Deer Creek Water Association and there is an existing septic system on the property the proposed manufactured home will connect to.
