WHATCOM COUNTY NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A MAJOR VARAINCE Notice is hereby given that on September 15, 2025, David Newberry applied for a major variance under case number var-maj2025-00004 to construct a new single-family residence. The applicant is proposing a reduction in the front yard setback from twenty (20) feet to ten (10) feet. The variance is required for the construction of a 731 square foot residence with a 565 square foot garage. The application was determined complete on September 31, 2025. indicating that all submittal requirements were met.
