NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
& ADOPTION OF 2026-2027 BUDGET
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Renton School District No. 403, King County, Washington (the “District”) has completed the District's 2026-2027 budget (the “Budget”), which includes a summary of the four-year budget plan. The Budget is on file in the Business Office and a copy will be furnished on request. The Board will hold a public hearing during the regularly scheduled Board meeting on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, commencing at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, at Kohlwes Education Center, Boardroom, 300 SW 7th St., Renton, WA 98057, for the purpose of presenting the Budget to the public and receiving public comment for or against the Budget, the four-year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of educational programs and operations levy funding.
The Board will vote regarding adoption of the budget during the regularly scheduled Board meeting on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, at Kohlwes Education Center, Boardroom, 300 SW 7th St., Renton, WA 98057.
The public may attend the Board meetings and public hearings on June 3 and June 24 remotely via zoom video conferencing at https://rentonschools.zoom. us/j/290143216 (with telephone access at (206) 337-9723, webinar ID 290 143 216).
Any person who attends in-person may comment at the meetings before the Board and be heard for or against any part of the Budget, the four-year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of educational programs and operations levy funding. Public comments may also be emailed to Board.Public.Comm ent@rentonschools.us. The Board President (or Secretary) will read up to the first 3 minutes of each person's written comments, and each submission will be entered into the record in its entirety. For those requesting comments to be read who are unable to submit written comments, please contact the District at (425) 204-2340 so alternative arrangements can be made.
